In 1810, Madame Clicquot invented the first Vintage Champagne, in 2012 Veuve Clicquot declared the 66th vintage of the Maison. Vintage 2012 is the unique expression of prodigious harvest, despite an extremely challenging climate throughout the year. The result is a gastronomic Champagne for wine lovers.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Pink with warm copper tones

Aroma: The nose is generous and elegant, with initial aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry) leading to biscuity notes of dried fruits and Viennese pastries (almonds, apricots and brioche). Expressive aromas of strawberry and very ripe wild strawberries.

Taste: full bodied and deliciously fruity with intense flavours of juicy ripe strawberries and cherries. A burst of red fruits

FOOD PAIRINGS

Veuve Clicquot Rosé works with rich, smoky dishes, executed simply. Start with oak-smoked salmon and zingy pickled cucumber. The champagne's intense fruit flavours and slightly biscuity finish will work well with peppery smoked duck breast.
