Linkwood distillery stands on the River Lossie, close to Elgin in Speyside. This distillery has retained its traditional atmosphere since its establishment in 1821. Linkwood is one of the finest single malt Scotch whiskies available – full bodied with a hint of sweetness and a slightly smoky aroma.
A whole garden of fruit and flower scents in a smooth, long, complex yet wholly integrated Speyside of utter distinction. This 12-year-old single malt whisky has a rich and oily mouthfeel with nutty, cereal notes and an aromatic and dry finish.
ABV: 43%
Region: Speyside
Nose: Entered with fresh soft-fruits with a hint of vanilla in the background.
Body: Mouth-filling, smooth and medium-bodied.
Palate: Mouth-filling and smooth. Fresh and light, spicy citrus with notes of bitter oak
Finish: Cedar notes emerge in the finish, which is long.
