The 2021 vintage is marked by high quality fruit with exceptional color and tannin. The concentration, low yields, and small berries were reminiscent of the 2015 vintage.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Deep garnet-purple.

Aroma: This 2021 Insignia captivates the senses with vibrant aromas of black cherry, hibiscus, and while blackberry, subtly accented by fresh earth and a hint of Tahitian vanilla.

Taste: On the palate, these dark fruit characteristics are harmonized with warm tones of redwood bark and baking spices.

FOOD PAIRINGS

Insignia's depth and structure pair well with grilled beef fillet, beef short rib and rack of lamb accompanied by seasonal vegetables and a potato purée. It also goes well with flank steak with chimichurri sauce, pan-seared ribeye steak and grilled portobello mushrooms.
