Zacapa is the pinnacle of ultra-premium rums and unlike most rums which use molasses as a base, Zacapa rum is made from only the sweetest first crush virgin sugar cane honey.
Zacapa XO is crafted using the same process with Zacapa 23. The final ageing stage for the XO is in French Oak barrels that previously held cognac.
